Business leaders routinely struggle with the question of what products, services, and strategies will get their organizations to the success they seek.
Unfortunately, far too little attention is given to the question of who will help them get there.
Given today's dismal statistics of low employee engagement, high workplace stress, and poor ROI from people-development efforts, there is increasing urgency to live up to the often-stated but rarely-implemented mantra that ‘people are our greatest asset’.
At the same time, companies across the globe are quickly discovering that ‘employee happiness is the new profitable’.
When happy employees work together in harmonious teams to increase business profit, we call it Profitable Happiness™. However, the question continues to be: how do we create a culture of happy employees—working in harmony—to produce profitable teams?
For the answer, we need look no further than neuroscience, which shows how our brains respond to music, nature's most perfect harmony. Just as humans have learned to fly by modeling birds, we can learn to build harmonious teams by modeling music.
In ‘The 7 Songs of A Successful Team’, you’ll discover the power of Music-Based Training™ to:
- Transfer Team Training Into Action
- Create A Strong Sense Of Community
- Increase Employee Engagement and Motivation
Drawing on scholarly research, as well as his own unique experiences at the cross-roads of Human Resources, Training, and Music, Dr. Pelè shows how we can model the harmony of music to create profitable business teams.
A must-read for business leaders who are inspired to transform dysfunctional workplace teams into harmonious and profitable ones.

The collapse of infamous energy giant Enron sets off a chain reaction that strips Dr. Mike Jordan of his Houston-based management consulting job. Guided by wise insights from Ravi Sharma, his former CEO and mentor, he soon finds himself on an entrepreneurial quest to help leaders bridge the gaps between goals and greatness.
Eventually, his journey leads him to a new consulting engagement at Middleville Hospital, a failing organization where dysfunction is the norm rather than the exception. Armed with only his love of music, teaching, and a theory that great leadership can be learned through practice, will Dr. Mike Jordan be able to help save the hospital, despite the resistance of its entrenched leaders?

NARRATIVE AS INFLUENCE: A Delphi study of storytelling as an entrepreneurial leadership best practice (PhD Doctoral Dissertation)
The purpose of this research study was to discover the most influential narrative strategies and practices that entrepreneurial leaders use to gain internal and external stakeholder support for the creation, growth, and sustenance of their business ventures.
The Delphi research method was chosen for its investigative approach, which structures a group communication process so that experts from a community of interest can provide input and reach a consensus on a complex phenomenon.
The primary result of this Delphi study was the identification of seven best practices, which enjoyed the highest consensus from the expert panel, and provided insight into the question of how entrepreneurs use narrative to influence their stakeholders in business presentations. The secondary result of the study was the discovery of how narrative practices and styles may tend to vary among different entrepreneurial types and demographic groups. From the discovery and consensus around the seven best practices, a new narrative framework was introduced, which provides insight and support for future entrepreneurial leaders seeking to influence stakeholders in the process of creating and growing their business ventures.
